You should also keep the environment where the animal stays clean. If the wound is contaminated or dirty, gently clean it with hydrogen peroxide, saline solution or a special preparation as recommended by your veterinarian.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is important to prevent contamination of the wound. If the animal is able to get into dirty or dirty places, such situations should be avoided. In some cases, it may be necessary to wear special protective clothing or use a protective collar to prevent the animal from touching the wound.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is also necessary to regularly observe the wound to properly detect any signs of infection such as redness, swelling, purulent discharge or fever.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_treat_hard-to-heal_wounds_in_animals\"><\/span><a><\/a>How to treat hard-to-heal wounds in animals?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Any problematic wound should be consulted with a veterinarian. The specialist should carefully examine the wound and introduce treatment methods adapted to the problem. The breeder is then obliged to follow the doctor&#8217;s instructions. The methods of dealing with hard-to-heal wounds in animals may vary. In some cases, the so-called stimulation of healing through laser therapy, vacuum therapy, ozone therapy or the use of special preparations supporting wound healing.
