Rain of awards
Solid work and care for animals brings results. At the international show 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐰 𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐦𝐜𝐳𝐞𝐜𝐡 there was a rain of prizes for Alpaca Country in Nowy Wiśnicz.
Fleece (i.e. veil) from her alpacas was on the podium three times among dark veils, taking:
- 1st place in Colorchampion Vlies Schwarz
- 1st place in Colorchampion Vlies Grau
- 2nd place in Oberstein Incognito Braun.
The success is all the greater because the competition was great. The judges had to evaluate as many as 333 alpaca veils from breeders from all over Europe.
Valuable alpaca wool
Alpacas are cute, gentle animals. Just the sight of them is calming. It’s great to stroke them, their wool is amazing – says Agnieszka Tokarz passionately about her charges.
In Poland, the qualities of alpaca wool are not yet appreciated as much as, for example, in Germany or Austria. This is where Agnieszka finds the most customers for wool and products that are made of it – bedding, hats, sweaters. She plans to open a small shop next to the alpaca farm where you can buy such goods.
Agnieszka Tokarz’s alpakarnia currently has 12 animals. Two of the alpacas were born in Nowy Wiśnicz. Beautifully decorated alpaca house with a paddock and walking paths are eagerly watched by visitors to this place. Children especially enjoy visiting alpacas. No wonder, because alpacas are charming, gentle, curious and sociable animals. They easily conquer people’s hearts.
